WE|Sail Adventures to Mexico City Part 2 | Episode 105
On part two of our exploration of Mexico City we are happy to be off the boat for a few days while being shown around Mexico City and surrounding areas.
These last few days our gracious hosts first take us to an old silver mining town that is one of the most beautiful and unique places we have ever experienced. It is a town called Taxco and it is situated on thank side of wide sweeping hills, and looks more like old Greek Mediterranean town than it does Mexican. We have a blast checking out this gorgeous little town, and after, head back to Mexico City for our last few days. During the last full day here we packed it in by starting the day with a balloon ride over a vast Mexican archaeological area known as Teotihuacan, an ancient pre-Aztec ruins. As if that wasn’t enough for the day, we all loaded up in the van and headed to the downtown are of the city to spend our last few hours see all the sights and sounds that the city offers.
It was a fantastic trip, one that we could not have done without the support and planning of this amazing family, to whom we are forever grateful.
