Sailing the Eastern San Blas Islands | Episode 52
April 22, 2020 by WEsail | Language: EN Play Time: 00:18:04 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

WE sail to the beginning of the San Blas Island chain and start navigating our way through the archapelago.Despite the natural beauty of the islands, WE start having mixed emotions about this area due to the amount of trash around the villages and islands.
Once anchored off the first island we knock out some boat work first to be able to concentrate on playing and exploring the rest of the time. We set off to hike around the fist island and see the fist of the villages, where we see that the locals are simple but seemingly happy and friendly.
After hiking around a bit we see that there is a serious trash problem on the island, but are not sure wether it comes from villagers or just accumulates from the ocean. Later on another island the question gets answered when we see a local villager throw a bucket of trash in the ocean. However, we continue exploring both on land and in the water, and the islands just keep getting more and more beautiful as we journey on!
