There are very few women out there that can do the sailing life and do the sailing life well. Erica has become a true sailor and is more and more impressive as we sail full time around the world.
We head south again after a few days on a mooring ball in Puerto Escondido, near Loreto on the Sea of Cortez. The winds are ideal to keep moving along towards La Paz where we will meet up with our friends and first visiting guests of the season. Well ideal for a little while until they change on us. One of the Battles of Sailing and trying to maintain a schedule.
Erica takes charge and tries new sail configurations as the wind continues to shift on us. Additionally, we have an impromptu overnight sail and Erica still manages to cook a delicious meal in some conflicting seas.
