Living on a SAILBOAT in FIJI | FINALLY Back to Anchor After 8 Months l Episode 324
Welcome back to another episode if WE|Sail.
After eight months away, we’re finally back on our sailing catamaran VA in Fiji – but our first week doesn’t go quite as smoothly as we hoped! Less than 48 hours after arriving, we’re prepping for our first cyclone of the season while tackling the massive job of deep cleaning the boat.
VA hasn’t been lived on for three months, and any boat owner knows what that means – mold, dust, and some unexpected wildlife that’s moved in (sorry birds, we’re back!). We spend our time reorganizing, cleaning, and getting the boat ready while waiting out the storm in the marina.
After a couple days of rain and wind – and one epic sunset – the cyclone shifts north and misses us completely. Finally, we escape the marina and get back out on anchor where we belong.
There’s nothing quite like that feeling of setting the hook, jumping in for a swim, and cracking a passage beer.
After everything we’ve been through to get here – the travel, the prep, the waiting – it finally feels like we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be. Welcome back to the float life.

Welcome back to another episode if WE|Sail.
