This is a special episode because we can now say, even though we have done two previous ocean crossings, that we have crossed an ocean under our own sails!!
We left Mexico three weeks earlier, stopping at some remote islands for scuba diving for a week, then sailing another several weeks, even crossing the equator for the first time! Sailing was amazing, and we were very lucky to have gotten the winds that we did!
