We sailed into Minerva Reef, not expecting to spend 10 days here, but sometimes weather dictates the adventure! While waiting for a better weather window to continue our passage, we found ourselves “stuck” in what can only be described as a sailor’s paradise.
We explore the beauty of Minerva Reef, share what life is like in such a remote spot, and reflect on the challenges (and joys!) of waiting out the weather. From stunning underwater adventures to the unique challenges of being anchored in the middle of the Pacific, this unexpected stop turned out to be a highlight of our journey.
