Putting Pieces back IN our floating tiny home | Ch 5 E 105

In this episode, the Wayward Life Sailing crew is making significant strides in their tiny floating home restoration project. After what seemed like a snail’s pace at first, things have picked up and they’re now feeling hopeful that they might be able to get back into the water this year.

Recent Progress

The couple has been working tirelessly on various small projects to help bring them closer to their goal. They’ve finally finished the spray foam job, allowing for more interior pieces to be put back together. Logan has been diligently working on getting the plumbing system reassembled.

Water Tanks Repaint and Inspect

The couple also addressed the water tanks, which required removing and inspecting the lids due to a potential issue caused by welding. They discovered burnt spots on some of the paint inside but managed to repair it. The exciting part is that they now plan to use rubber gasket material as their seal instead of glue, making it easier for them to check the tanks in the future.

Foam Trimming and Reassembly

With the water tanks taken care of, they moved on to trimming the spray foam. This process allowed them to start putting the pieces back together for the living spaces, making it a joyous occasion when everything started fitting together again.

Patron Help

Excitement continued as they had some help from Maya, their patreon who was able to lend a hand with the foam removal. This added encouragement pushed them even further in their quest to get their tiny floating home ready for water.

Painting Deck and Future Plans

Ahead, the couple plans to put non-slip paint on their decks. This project will involve more prep work before they can start painting. Fans of the channel who can’t wait to see how things develop are encouraged to sign up for patreon and get exclusive updates.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Wayward Life Sailing crew is making remarkable progress in restoring their tiny floating home. Their determination and hard work are paying off as they continue to make significant strides towards getting back on the water.
