It took us 5 months to purchase our new sailboat, but we finally were able to buy her! She is a 45 foot custom fibreglass boat built in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Happily, Covid-19 did not pose a ton of issues for us in the process of buying her, other than any insurance questions had to be answered over the phone instead of in person and we were short on public bathrooms and showers. It also took us a bit longer to line up a surveyor and a lift, although I think that was more due to people having free time to get their own boats ready for sailing than anything.
