SAVAGE Lightning Storms! Sailing in Central America is Scary (EP28)
October 23, 2022 by Untide | Language: EN Play Time: 00:23:22 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

Welcome to another update from Elixir’s voyage!
With a flick of the switch, the dry season is over! Gone are the peaceful afternoons, and now our days of sailing are plagued with the very real threat of being struck. We couldn’t help but think, what would happen if Elixir was struck by lightning?
I always knew sailing North through Central America would be struggle, but I never thought the lightning squalls would be SO scary. As well as the lightning, we’re faced with another (completely unexpected) issue at sea.
In this video, we explore the Chiriqui region of Panama, and meet some really incredible locals. It’s an area seldom visited by yachts, and as a result, we made some very special friendships.
Hope you enjoy! More content from our sailing trip around the world below.
