50+ CREW & COUNTING in Tonga! (4 Years Sailing Around the World on Elixir)
Welcome to another update from Elixir’s voyage around the world!
We are currently sailing through the idyllic islands of Polynesia. In this video, we sail Elixir south through the Kingdom of Tonga, from the Ha’apai group to the capital of Tongatapu.
We manage to squeeze in in a couple of final surf sessions at a remote wave, before discovering the shocking extent of the damage to nearby islands from the recent tsunami.
We end the episode in Tongatapu, where Maddie leaves :(, and we begin to prepare for the final 1,000 mile passage to New Zealand.
