http://tulasendlesssummer.com for more endless summer fun, adventure, and travel. I was relatively recently looking for a gps for navigation and was between a Garmin and iPad. I have found for the same price or a tiny bit cheaper I could get an iPad WITH Navionics and I would have all the functionality of the iPad and not be limited to just the sole purpose of a GPS. However, there are a few things to take into consideration if you are looking at using your iPad as your navigation device ESPECIALLY as your sole navigation device. Billy, Sierra, and Jetty here and we live on a BOAT! We have sailed up and down the east coast, all of the Bahamas and through the Caribbean. We started this boat life on a small monohull sailboat (Tula) and then moved onto an old trawler (Neverland). We now live on a sailing catamaran named Adrenaline. In order to be able to live this life, we buy boats that need A LOT of boat work and fix them up ourselves. We make these videos so you can experience the work and FUN with us.
