The crew of s/v Airi Alee at our marina made a decision to buy a new Liferaft once the 10-man raft that came with the boat reached 7 years old. At that point, certification should be done every year. We manually inflated the raft in the swimming pool at Dockside Marina and Resort, South Hutchinson Island, Fort Pierce FL located on the Atlantic inlet. Once purchased, skippers must provide crew training and maintenance of the raft and it’s inflation system
