This is an honest review by the AdventureTravelers.com for the White Springs Winery in Geneva, New York, a Harvest Hosts location. The location of this winery was in the beautiful and historic town of Geneva, New York. We called about a day in advance to make sure there was room for our RV. The staff were very accommodating. The location of the winery was a refreshing surprise. We drove many hours and were happy to see such a beautiful location that we could now relax in. The staff was actually worried about us getting stuck in the rain. They were not worried about anything except that we were having a good time. They suggested we take our bikes into town a ride around the lake. The bike path was stunning. However, getting to the park was a bit scary on our bikes. We ended up riding on the sidewalk because we didn’t feel safe to ride in the busy street. Once we found the bike path we road for literally hours. The town park near the lake was stunning. After about five hours of riding, we road back to the Winery for a cold beer. We were able to try samples of beer in addition to the different wines.
The location where we parked our Sunseeker RV had wonderful views of the apple orchards and even the lake across the street. We felt like the Winery should have music playing to add to the ambiance but we brought our own anyway. This Harvest Hosts location is a thumbs up for sure. We felt comfortable and relaxed from the minute we got there. The area we parked was paved and flat and our windows looked out over the orchards.
