We go through all systems, including; Communications, Satellite, Solar, AGM Batteries, and the Outback power system, Autopilot, Heater, Air Conditioner, and even heated floors. This yacht had it all. With so many systems, it was almost impossible to route one more system through the boat. Everything was full.

The liveaboard Captain and I also had to purchase all the spares and basically everything you need on a 52′ yacht that sleeps, 9 people. The owner wanted a full turn-key yacht.

After sea-trials, some shakedown sails, and a haul-out, she was ready to depart south to Mexico.

After doing the inbound paperwork and receiving a Mexican TIP (Temporary Import Permit) we headed deeper down the coast of Baja Mexico until we reached Marina Puerto Los Cabos.

We checked out the town, re-provisioned, and headed to Puerto Vallarta.

I fly back home and deliver a Bali 4.3 from Newport Beach to San Diego and then fly back to Mexico. Since I departed, the liveaboard Captain sailed the boat with the owner down to Barra Navidad. I meet the Captain down there and we sail the boat together back up to Puerto Vallarta.

After doing a little maintenance, we sail the boat up to La Paz, where I leave and come back for another boat delivery. This time I do an offshore sales delivery for a Seawind catamaran and a wonderful husband/wife sailing couple.

That’s it. The life of a delivery boat Captain.
