When you are cruising, you have a fair amount of time to think and recently, as we have rekindled friendships with buddy boats we sailed down through Europe with, we have realised how powerful time can be. On land, it acted as a means to realise how much we didn’t get done, how fast paced, yet mundane every day was, and now, the mundane is what tells the stories. Sure, life has a few dramas at points but its the small moments, when the camera isn’t filming, that we really stop and think, ‘this is our life, and oh, we are so grateful to be living it.’

Tŷ (a house) & llu (of numerous host). We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.
