We found WATER on our new sailing boat.. No. 6
Think the water is meant to be on the outside of the boat…not the inside! We were hours away from setting sail for the first time when we decided to bring the pilot berth floor up. First finding mould, then realising it was because there was a lot of water just sitting there, under our galley cupboards, slowly seeping into the wood- not good.
Hey ho, whats one more hurdle anyway?

Teulu Tribe
Tŷ (a house) & llu (of numerous host). We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.
