Welcome back- today we head only 7 miles from the house to the Gower Fresh Christmas Tree Farm, to (you guessed it!) pick some Pumpkins. Each year, they bring in food stands, animals and let you pick your own pumpkins and this year, it was much bigger than last time. We spent the afternoon dodging mud and soaking in all the Autumnal colours before heading back and making my first ever Pumpkin pie.
A few days later (with Halloween passed!) i finally find time to carve my pumpkin- it definitely wasn’t the best job! Haha. Anyway, i chop it all up, add some broth, onion and seasonings and blend into a yummy, warming soup.

Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this âlivingâ business is all about.
