Setting sail ALONE for the first time No. 8
After the series of um, unfortunate events? that happened last week, we were apprehensive to say the least to head out again by ourselves. However, negative thinking didn’t help us at all the previous week so we decided to mix it up and believe in ourselves and would you look at that! It worked!
We had a very enjoyable sail and (albeit heading through the middle of a sailing race) had no issues. This was exactly what we needed to remind ourselves the true reason we had this dream to begin with.

Teulu Tribe
Tŷ (a house) & llu (of numerous host). We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.
