Finding SECRET BEACHES in SOUTH PEMBROKESHIRE (+ how we sleep in my Subaru Estate) No. 99
Hi!!! We are back after having a week off posting- i feel like a need to get a tshirt with ‘life is hectic right now’ printed on it because honestly, it feels like we can’t catch our breaths at the moment! However, we decided to make this video a little longer and show you guys around South Pembrokeshire.
We started the trip at Broadhaven Bay South and slept in my Subaru overnight (i speak all about how we make this into a campervan in this video). We eat dinner while watching the sunset and both feel an overwhelming feeling of peace.
The next day we head along East to Barafundle Bay and Arches and wow- we couldn’t get enough. I don’t want to spoil anything but if you love underwater exploring and caves then you should really watch this 😉 We then hop out and swim over to Church Rock- the currents were pretty crazy but we managed it, only to find out the vis wasn’t great for spear fishing. Luckily a local guy told us where we could find spider crabs (our fave) so we headed over there after discovering the huge blue crater (literally the coolest cave swim ever). We had a little fail of running out of gas mid cooking so we headed to a local pub for a late dinner.
The next day we admired our choice of overnight parking before heading to Stack Rocks and Flimstone Bay. This was a secret beach that required scrambling down to but we had the entire place to ourselves. Minus the washed up rubbish, this was an epic place to spend a few hours.

Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on.
