BOAT YARD LIFE: Time to start repairs.. No.78
We were currently in Curacao, 75 nautical miles away from where a tractor and trailor was waiting to lift Teulu, our 40ft sailing boat out of the water.
After 5000 nautical miles sailed since last year, it was about time we lifted her out, upgraded some things, fixed others and oh flew to the UK to hug our families.

Tŷ (a house) & llu (of numerous host). We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.
