Anchored in Paradise Between These Two Resorts… Until the Storms Forced Us to Move | Ep. 42
We continue our 4-part series on the best places to visit in the Abaco Islands, Bahamas! Today we sail from Man-O-War Cay through the tiny cut and anchor at our favorite “Perfect Spot” on Elbow Cay — perfectly located between Firefly Resort, Sunset Restaurant, Sea Spray Marina, Abaco Inn, and Hopetown.
We take the dinghy into historic Hopetown Harbor, explore the colorful shops and restaurants (including Cap’n Jack’s), walk the stunning beaches, and enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner at Firefly. The next day we tour Sea Spray Marina and Abaco Inn before weather forces us back to the boat. Instead of fighting it, we knock out several boat projects and eventually move Serenity to the south end of Lubbers Quarter for better protection.
One of the most peaceful and beautiful stops on our entire Bahamas adventure!
In the next episode we head to Little Harbour — one of our absolute favorite places in the world.
