How do you get a 74 foot 28 ton boat from Tulsa Oklahoma to the ocean? http://tulsaport.com/

Nomenclature: The rudders in front of props are “flanking rudders”. They aid in steering when in the wheels are engaged in reverse or going backwards. With twin screws and flanking rudders it is an easy task to even make the boat and any load “walk” sideways.

And this is a “Harbor Boat”. Flat faced work boats are called “Tow Boats”. “Tugs” are much larger and have pointed bows for dealing with heavy seas.
