SV Impavidus marks two milestones – a special birthday celebration for Cindy and hitting the 10,000 subscriber mark – in this week’s exciting video. To add to the celebrations, the crew welcomes the arrival of their new drone.
Flying the New Drone
Although they’ve not yet decided on a name for the new drone, the crew sets out to put it through its paces. All of the footage you see in the video is captured manually while flying the drone.
Birthday Celebrations
Cindy’s birthday celebrations take centre stage, and the crew head to Kover Fish Restaurant for a hosted party. Along with cake and flowers for Sid, it proves to be an unforgettable day.
Exploring Further
The crew then continue their adventure by exploring Cash, Calan and eventually anchoring in Jamlah Bay – another favourite location.
Next Stop: Jamla Bay
The crew then head to Jamla Bay, which they had previously visited while sailing on ‘The Barley’ catamaran. They fly the drone, enjoy the scenery and explore more of what this beautiful bay has to offer.

We are now in season 7
In 2018 we left the UK to sail around the world slowly. After Brexit, a "Pandemic" and major heart surgery we are still sailing, documenting our travels and showing you what we have learned so far.
We are hoping to complete our journey, and travel right around the world even if we have had a few setbacks along the way. We will continue at our own pace and that may be fast or slow. We want to be sure not to miss anything and have stories to tell our grandchildren when we are old and grey.
