Brunton Autoprop Service. This clever piece of engineering is simpler than you think.
In this video we take Impavidus out the water and do a few jobs. One of which is to service the Brunton Autoprop. The prop looks complicated but actually it is quite simple. We follow the Brunton guidelines from their downloadable PDF’s and it takes less time than we thought. Although you do need a good working surface and it is probably best to have a bench and a vice. Brunton supplied the special tools and these made the job much easier.

In 2018 we left the UK to sail around the world slowly. After Brexit, a “Pandemic” and major heart surgery we are still sailing, documenting our travels and showing you what we have learned so far.
We are hoping to complete our journey, and travel right around the world even if we have had a few setbacks along the way. We will continue at our own pace and that may be fast or slow. We want to be sure not to miss anything and have stories to tell our grandchildren when we are old and grey.
