Episode Summary
In this episode, we joined a group of local Dominican bikers for an epic off-road adventure in the heart of Hispaniola. With no gas, no helmets, and no insurance, we embarked on a journey filled with steep hills, dense jungle, bamboo forests, mango orchards, and stunning coastlines. We began by choosing our bikes from a group of old, battered motorcycles, all with their own unique problems – from bad brakes to leaking oil. With little more than our bravery and determination, we set out on our adventure. As we rode deeper into the Dominican wilderness, the terrain became increasingly challenging, forcing us to carry our bikes across streams, push them up steep inclines, and fix mechanical issues along the way. Our group’s camaraderie grew stronger as we all worked together to conquer the difficult trails and share in each other’s triumphs. After a long day of riding, we stopped at a local beach for a much-needed rest. As we sat in an ice-cold spring, rejuvenating our bodies after the rigorous ride, our starter failed once more, adding one last hurdle to our already challenging day. Despite this final setback, we pushed through and eventually made it back to our bikes. Our motorcycle adventure in the Dominican Republic with a group of local bikers was filled with both hardships and joys. We formed lasting bonds with people from all walks of life as we rode together on challenging trails and created memories that will last a lifetime.We've left the crystal blue waters and flat islands of the Bahamas and sailed across the Green, Luscious, Mountainous Island of Hispaniola!
We are in absolute awe of the beauty of this island as we sail down the coast and make our way into the Dominican Republic. We're pending some time on the Samana Peninsula taking care of some projects and Raf goes extreme dirt biking with the locals 😳

We met on a tiny island, sailed around the Caribbean for a year, and lived a real life fantasy, HOWEVER, we find ourselves having to restart from the very bottom, on a SINKING SAILBOAT!!! Tune in for weekly videos and watch as we fight against DAILY ODDS and make unrealistic Sacrifices in order to get back to our dream of Sailing Around the World! The faster we can get this boat gutted and rehabbed, the faster we can get back to spearfishing and searching for buried treasure!
