After leaving Venice, Sam encounters difficulties backing out with his boat, which may be covered in barnacles. Undeterred, he deploys the sails and sets course for Slovenia, just 50 miles away. With limited wind conditions, he opts to motor sail.
Sailing Challenges
Sam’s journey is filled with sailing challenges, such as navigating through strong currents and low tides. He realizes that he must be more prepared next time by researching current conditions beforehand.
Navigating the Coastline
As Sam approaches the Slovenian coast, he considers various anchorages and possible towns to visit. He eventually anchors near Pan in Slovenia after receiving recommendations from viewers. While there, he enjoys meeting up with local sailors and sharing sailing experiences.
