Something we often discuss together is the health of the ecosystem we’re visiting.
Here at Isla Cozumel, a huge, protected reef is a world-class destination for divers.
While living near the island, rebuilding our sailboat, we have had the opportunity to visit the area often.
It’s an amazing spot! But how healthy is the ecosystem? And more so, in general, will we ever see as healthy as reefs as we saw in the past?

Robinson and Justine are sailing the seas and living simply. We sailed tiny C&C 24 'Maiweh' down the Pacific Coast to San Francisco. We took on a bigger sailboat project there, a Buccaneer 335 name 'Rossa', and sailed her to Mexico. Now, we are currently working on an even larger sailboat named 'Inesperado', a Vennekens Koral 40 pilothouse sloop. Robi grew up on a boat, and Justine only learned how to sail several years ago.
