Sailing from Ft Lauderdale Florida to Wilmington North Carolina

For insurance purposes, we were instructed to make arrangements for the Caribbean hurricane season running from July to November. We had to get above 30 degrees north so we decided to sail from the US Virgin Islands to the east coast of American to North Carolina.
This video includes our voyage from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Wilmington, North Carolina. There are clips from various places in Fort Lauderdale including Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Butterfly World, Sawgrass Mills, Hyatt’s Pier 66 marina and resort, and more.
We also say goodbye to our guest, Kyle, who traveled with us from the US Virgin Islands to Florida – join us for three weeks. There’s a short interview with him.
There’s a bit of footage of sailing in the Atlantic with no wind and very calm waters in addition to what it’s like to sail up the Cape Fear River ending up in Port City Marina, Wilmington, North Carolina.
