As they continue their relaxing vacation aboard their yacht, they find a unique way to spend their time – helping those affected.

Len and the Sailing Britican Crew Step Up

Lead by Len, a dedicated team of sailors has come together to transport vital materials such as lumber and siding up to Carriacou island. The crew at Spice Island Marina have been extremely kind and generous with their resources, assisting in assembling the building supplies and even lending their manpower for the project.

Overcoming Challenges Together

To ensure safe transport of these materials, careful planning was required. The supplies are secured and tightly strapped down to the yacht. One look at them may suggest otherwise, but with teamwork and a commitment to the mission, the sailors feel confident that they can navigate even the most difficult situations.

Weather Windows and Moving Forward

Awaiting their ideal weather window for travel to Carriacou, the crew remains hopeful as they get closer to making a difference in Paradise Beach Club’s restoration. The goal is to swiftly begin unloading these materials once that all-important window presents itself.

The Mission of Helping Continues

This is just a small glimpse into the story of Sailing Britican and their incredible journey. Follow along as they document this heartwarming tale, showcasing not only their sailing adventures but also the challenges faced while working towards making Paradise Beach Club whole again.

The Final Thoughts

Every small contribution matters in rebuilding and recovering from natural disasters like hurricanes. Len, the crew of Sailing Britican, and everyone else involved in this amazing effort truly embody human solidarity.

Our friend Len turned Manava into a lumber delivery vessel. Simon teaches our Sailing Lifestyle Experiences on this boat.

Currently, it’s being used to carry wood designated to rebuild the kitchen at the Paradise Beach Club, Carriacou.

Once this kitchen is up and running, it will feed countless locals and volunteers helping to rebuild the fantastic island of Carriacou.
