The island of Carriacou is north of Grenada in the southern Caribbean. Many sailing cruisers make the Grenadines home during the hurricane season as it’s low risk. Our favorite anchorage is Sandy Island or just off Paradise Beach. Not only are the views amazing but you can get off the boat and grab an excellent meal or drinks from the Paradise Beach Club.
