Five years ago, we spent every dollar we had on a sailboat that wasn’t ready to go cruising — and somehow, that turned into the adventure of a lifetime. After a tense fuel scare and a 26-hour sail from Bimini to the Exumas, we’re finally settling into island life… but not without a few surprises.
