Today we have some exciting news to share with you all.As many of you already know, our YouTube channel is dedicated to living and sailing on the beautiful Yabó, but today’s episode is a little different as we announce our involvement in an incredibly important event for a greater cause.Hurricane Beryl Devastates Grenada
On July 1st, Hurricane Beryl, a Category 4 storm, hit the northern part of Grenada and its sister islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique with devastating effects.Rise Grenada
In response to the disaster, a group of YouTube sailing content creators and Spice Island Marine have banded together to form Rise Grenada. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for rebuilding small businesses and restoring livelihoods in these beautiful islands.Live Fundraising Event on July 14th
On the 14th of July, at 10 AM Eastern Time Zone, a live fundraising event will be hosted by members of the sailing community to help raise funds for this cause.Join Us!

Hi! We are Ben & MP and we now own a massive wooden schooner that needs A LOT of work done. Many people told us the boat we chose was doomed, but we refuse to settle on that thought and we are going to do whatever it takes to make this boat a happy sailor again. We are both rookies when it comes to boat ownership and carpentry, so this is going to be a steep learning curve for us which we are ready to embrace. Luckily we found an amazing team of shipwrights that accepted the challenge of bringing Yabá back to life. But we are not only watching them work, besides documenting everything, we are also very keen to learn so we can do as much as possible ourselves, always knowing when to leave it to the experts.
