In this episode, we visit the smaller island of Nusa Penida. The #1 tourist attraction belonging to the district of Bali. This is probably the busiest island around Bali and we share our experience from Crystal Bay and Kelingking Beach. Indonesia never stops to impress me and the Balinese people have captured my heart! No matter where you go, or who you meet there is always a warm and genuine smile to receive.
We had some challenges with our ferry departure because Ama Dia Cruises was out of service. From western eyes its a bit of a surprise they still sell tickets online knowing they don’t have a ferry in traffic for a while. That said the service and follow-up were flawless once we found our man. And even on Nusa Penida, they had a representant that awaited us to give us information on our return as well. so all in all thumbs up for Ama Dia Cruises.

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I’m a sailor with a YouTube channel and not a YouTuber. Sailing around the world in a Bavaria 55 Cruiser mostly solo, making videos whenever we have time for it.
Comfortable at sea with 4 decades of sailing experience and hundreds of thousands of miles behind me.
Even though this is season 6 on YouTube I did not make that many videos in the beginning, and obviously not from my entire sailing life. Before full-time sailing 6 years ago, I sailed several seasons in the Mediterranean, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing and racing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience as a captain in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.
