Tarka's Prop Shaft Disconnects and Tries to Eat the Motor (Sailing w/the Litzenbergers Ep. 122)
We attempt to leave Vero Beach but as we approach the fuel dock a horrible sound comes out of the engine room. When we take a look we find the prop shaft has disconnected from the motor and the bolts are trying to rip apart the transmission. It’s a bad deal.

We've figured out that we are able to sail for seasons at a time if we sell the boat at the end of 2 seasons, to save on storage while we go back to work. It's led to us owning 6 sailboats and cruising a lot of differing coasts. Some times we've loved it and some times we've hated it, but no matter what state of elation or depression we are in we love to document it for friends, family and now a great community of "Fries!"
