Welcome to our galley. Ever wondered how we feed our hungry sailors?
Here is a quick little insight into breakfast on passage – Good ol’ porridge. It’s a belly filler!
We use this method of boiling the water first and letting the oats soak it up rather than stand over the stove and stir the whole time 1. to save gas (because doing refills on New Caledonia is difficult and expensive) and 2. to save the cooks arm muscles for winching 😉
