In this episode Pippi gets back into the saddle – she has her first kite surfing lesson since her accident and with a 4m kite and her little seat harness she gives it a red hot go but the winds are light and fickle making it tricky for her.
We then install our iridiumGO! aerial to help with satellite communications while at sea. The aerial had previously been installed but unfortunately the prior owner advised us that it had been violently ripped from the deck by stray lines near the traveller.
Needless to say we were hesitant to install it in the same spot but there are limited options onboard Happy Days and moving it slightly further away from the traveller will be the best position for our boat.
See how this enables us to have more direct contact with the sky and how it all connects to the iridiumGO! unit. We also give you a brief rundown on how the iridiumGO! unit is then used with our mobile device for phone calls, messages, email and also predict wind forecasts while at sea.
