Sorry this video isn’t as cheerful as usual, but we thought it was important to include all the many wonderful, terrifying and hard times that come with living on a sailboat.
We were lucky, and managed to avoid the worst of these gigantic lightning storms. Our friends on the crossing from Greece to Sicily were not, and got caught in the very worst of it. Luckily they were experienced enough to deal with it. But it shows that sailing in the Mediterranean is not always sunshine and calm seas!
