What You Need & Need to Know To Anchor a Boat ; James of SV Triteia Gives You the Basics
Hello Friends,
Now that we have finished up the first half of Season 7 where we anchored all around Catalina Island for 10 days I thought it would be good to make a few videos demystifying anchoring for anyone who has never anchored and wants to expand their cruising grounds.
As I mention in the video this is at the “Quick and Dirty” version almost like the “Cliffs Notes” of what you NEED and NEED to know. In this video I explain what Ground Tackle is and how important it is to understand Scope and what to do if you find yourself dragging anchor.
I will be doing a longer versions that might be a few episodes getting deeper into Anchors, Rode, Anchorages, Techniques and more.
