SEASON 6 / The Haul Out : Episode #119 : Bottom Preparations
On this episode we get into the fun and brutal task of sanding the bottom. We had wanted to water blast the bottom down to gel coat or fiberglass but that is something that has to be done by the yard for environmental reasons and we had no were near the budget for such a task so we chipped off all the loose bits and sanded the entire bottom.
I also show you how I went about filling the old knot meter hole on the boat with G10 fiberglass board. If you don’t know about G10 you should look into it, this stuff is magic!
After a long hard day of sanding a tipsy Camille decided to document our shower experience. 🙂
