On this episode I take advantage of a beautiful day between weeks of storms and book a day trip as a tourist on a boat that takes passengers to Bay of Islands famous “Hole in the Rock” at Motukokako (Piercy) Island. After a fun visit to this unique feature we had a lunch stop at Urapukapuka where I hiked to the top of a hill to take on the views and explored one of the secluded beaches.
I paid full price for my ticket and am not promoting this trip, just sharing with you a day in my life on a tourist boat.
