Season 7 : Episode #168 : A Stuck Anchor and Short Choppy Seas
Hello Friends,
On this weeks episode we awake at Johnson’s Lee on Santa Rosa Island after another very eventful night of high winds and yawling at anchor. One thing this trip drove home for us was how strong our anchor set up was and gave us a lot of faith in our rope rode.
After a struggle of getting the anchor up, which was well secured in some kelp, we made our way out into light winds and heavy short period seas left over from the nights blow. Making our way bucking the 17 nm to our next anchorage.
