Your sailmaker is the best person repair your sails, but sometimes you’re in the middle of the ocean, or your sailmaker is in the middle of the ocean and you just can’t get to them. The good news is that with some sail repair tape, a sewing awl, and some soft shackles, there are lots of minor DIY sail repairs you can do yourself.
