Ep 99 Big Winds and Big Mileage-Rhodes to Mykonos, Greece
A pretty big passage from Rhodes, Greece, an island occupied and fortified by the Knights Templar, over to the remote island of Symi, then on to the anchorage at Kamari (island of Kos) for some sailboarding, a wedding at Kalymnos, crazy katabatic winds at Icaria, and finally back to the dysfunctional but charming marina at Mykonos. In all, we sailed 189 nautical miles through some of the toughest winds and seas we’ve seen in the Aegean Sea. We finish with some of the maintenance tasks that sprang up along the way.

Sailing Talisman
We're cruising couple Kevin and Wendy, and we're sailing the world in our completely upgraded Oyster 485. We packed up everything, rented the houses, and headed for Troon, Scotland where the boat was located. We closed in late 2017 and following a major electronics refit (the first of several) headed south to the Mediterranean. One season morphed into a second, then a third. And then the Caribbean beckoned. We participated in the 2019 ARC, and have been cruising there since. The adventure continues ...
