Ep 35 Talisman Leaves Scotland for France. Heading South to the Med.
Talisman finally heads south from Scotland, bound for Camerey Sur Mer, France. This is our first big passage and we bring Iain Hunter of Hunter Yacht Deliveries with us. Iain did all the heavy lifting in terms of getting the boat back into working order after 7 years on the hard, and he knows the boat about as well as anyone. Iain is a great guy, and if you ever need a boat delivered, no matter how big or small, Iain will fly to the location and get it done. He’s a pro in every way.
Sailing Talisman
We're cruising couple Kevin and Wendy, and we're sailing the world in our completely upgraded Oyster 485. We packed up everything, rented the houses, and headed for Troon, Scotland where the boat was located. We closed in late 2017 and following a major electronics refit (the first of several) headed south to the Mediterranean. One season morphed into a second, then a third. And then the Caribbean beckoned. We participated in the 2019 ARC, and have been cruising there since. The adventure continues ...
