In this episode I demonstrate how Strataglass window glass in installed in Sunbrella marine canvass panels. Following that, it’s some in-depth tips on how to adjust and tune these machines for optimal performance, especially as relates to using Tenara Lifetime thread and a discussion on general thread tension. This includes both the top-thread tension as well as bobbin-thread tension. There’s also a demonstration of on-the-fly repairs you can make to avoid skipped stiches.

We're cruising couple Kevin and Wendy, and we're sailing the world in our completely upgraded Oyster 485. We packed up everything, rented the houses, and headed for Troon, Scotland where the boat was located. We closed in late 2017 and following a major electronics refit (the first of several) headed south to the Mediterranean. One season morphed into a second, then a third.
