Chapters:

00 – Intro: Explore one of the worlds most remote places in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. Difficult to reach this island hosts amazing landscapes, an almost extinct local polynesian language, and a kind culture.
01 – Sunrise in French Polynesia: Kate paddleboards (SUP) to town to buy some fresh french bread and crossiants and speaks some of the endangered Mangaraven language.

58 – Discussing the French influence and learning more about the endangered ancient local language of Mangaraven, which less than 600 people on the island still speak as well as their friendly and helpful culture. This is one of the remaining places in the world that you can still see its cuturual roots from before european influence.
11 – Curtis visits a singlehanded sailor to assist him with boat repairs. His sailboat has an all electric drivetrain and his goal is to sail around the world without the use of fossil fuels. We tour his boat, view the electric motors and solor panels, and learn more about his journey.
27 – We learn how black pearls are made! We visit a pearl farm wich produces the famous black pearls and they show us step by step how pearls are made. We take a look at some of the worlds most beautiful and rare pearls as we learn about how pearls are graded, what makes pearls valuable, and more.
50 – Tall Ships: the island is visited by two old tall ships. One, a two master schooner, and the second a three masted barque. We fly the drone to watch as the ships navigate the dangerous reef entrance to the harbor and go aboard for a tour or the Europa.
05 – Landing a Marlin! The local fisherman went offshore fishing and landed a huge marlin early in the day and brought it back to feed the town. We jumped in our dinghy and headed to their waterfront house to purchase some marlin steaks to put on the grill!
59 – We hike, climb, and treck to the top of the tallest peak on the island, Mt. Duff. We took in the amazing 360 views of the island and archipelogo, we were able to see many miles out into the horizon where the Pacific Ocean meets the sky.
