All alone in the vast wilderness of the Patagonian Fjords in Chile. Navigating the high latitudes to outrun a huge low pressure system and shore tie into new anchorages in uncharted waters where very few sailors have gone before.
This is what our life is like in the remote wilderness, where we are totally on our own, way off the beaten path. Rescue is unlikely if we make a mistake in this area of the Islands of Patagonia where the charts are classified. A small mistake could lead to sinking, injury, or even death. It is all worth it though as we experience true solitude and the sounds of silence!
