Join us as we work to pad our cruising kitty preparing and transporting amazing yachts, including TP52s and Santa Cruz 70’s. After visting some family at home we join Team Chico2 (a 1D35 Turbo racing sailboat) to compete in the 2021 Chicago to Mackinac Race on Lake Michigan.

We are Sailing Sweet Ruca! We are going around the world via Cape Horn and the Cape of Good hope in our performance cruising monohull, a J Boats J/46. We used to be sailboat racers, but have turned to the cruising life, along with our sailing dog, Roxy.

We are Kate and Curtis aboard our boat s/v Sweet Ruca. We are kind of like Sailing la Vagabonde, except we have a sailing dog named Roxy instead of a kid, and a monohull instead of a catamaran.
