Oh my goodness! We couldn’t believe it! In this latest sailing video we sail out to Northwest Island off the coast of Gladstone, snuck ashore in the middle of the night, and what should we find but big Mamma turtles laying their nest of eggs – and baby turtles hatching, scrambling down the beach making their way out into the world. Will they survive? This is a once in a lifetime experience for us and we were absolutely overwhelmed by the beautiful event that we had stumbled across. We were so hoping we could bring this to you and the stars shined bright for us this night. This is what sailing to remote places is all about!
