It’s crazy how fast plans can change on the open ocean š¤Æ The only constant in a sailor’s life is change, and today we found this to be as true as ever. After spending months in the safety of the Marquesas Islands of French Polynesia waiting for the cyclone season to pass, we were finally ready to get on the move again. Our plan was to make one last stop in Fatu Hiva which was only about 40 miles away. But once we got out underway, our plans quickly changed from a 40 mile day sail to a 400 mile open ocean crossing!
